That pretty much sums up Star Wars nicely, for any of the movies. There are times where it’s just flashy action, then others where its kinda plodding along and not going fast enough. Some movies are worse than others (Episode II for example) but pretty much all of the Star Wars movies are guilty of this at some point.
The Lego editions at least just make it flat-out fun.

But there were still second run theaters around, where you could see a recent movie for one dollar, a few months after its initial opening. Home video was only starting, so there wasn’t really the opportunity to own the movies yourself.
