As far as I recall, Andy and Flo live in Hartlepool on the northeastern coast of the UK. Liverpool is northwest. There is a statue of Andy in Hartlepool which was also Andy’s creator Reg Smythe’s home town.

Many times I have seen Mr Capp with a paper in one hand, a beer in the other holler up the stairs at Flo to do something for him. Man up Andy, exercise those vocal cords.
i can’t believe Flo is that slovenly to not get that grass cut before it got that tall. She couldn’t have missed it , she walked right past it going to work all week.
Andy may have to slap her to remind her.
Poor Andy! With his severe allergy to all types of pollen, you would think that Flo would do a better job of keeping up with her yard work. Once again Andy will have to prod her into action and risk one of her terrible tirades. If only he were not cursed with so many disabling health issues, he could tackle all those jobs that he would absolutely love to do!
Maybe this will be the one time that Flo will show her gratitude to Andy for pointing out the problem before it got out of hand. We can only hope. Soldier on Andy my brother!

I just mowed my lawn for the first time this year yesterday, but it wasn’t as long as the Capps’ lawn.
I also guess Andy would dislocate his shoulder when yanking the mower’s starter cord if he did the mowing himself.
