Red and Rover by Brian Basset for September 14, 2014
Transcript:
Thank goodness it was only a dream. It was so real, too. You were out in the backyard when an alien spaceship that had been traveling for a thousand light-years swooped down and beamed you up! And then, just like that, you and the spaceship were gone. Rover! Rover! Rover! But only minutes later, they brought you back. They must of been done with their weird experiments on me. No, you got carsick.

You just can’t take Rover anywhere…even to Mars, fortunately!

Holy Cow, Red! I had the worst dream last night, too. Thankfully, in the end lots of Rovers were running all over the backyard. Of course, no Rover compares with yours. When I woke up,Golden Riley was right there beside me. A sweet Sunday to you, dear boys.LOVE & HUGS TO RED & ROVER

Great illustration of a dog yawn, Brian. I think the tongue-curl ones are the REALLY satisfying ones.

One item I do not miss about raising children! The only thing worse than a carsick child is a carsick pet..Of course, it is just one of those blessings you must endure…
