As opposed to….Line dancers? Line cowboys? Line cowpeople? Line country dancers?

Well, Ok…. a small restaurant would be lucky to have two line cooks on a shift…. But … I guess they threw the kid in there…. he wasn’t ready for such a big role….and, sadly…he blew his lines.

The boss was just looking for a reason to fire him, and he took the bait – cook line and sinker.

My stepson once ran a kitchen for a joint where the wait staff would randomly start boot-scootin’. Drove him nuts. He said he and his staff put too much effort into getting orders prepared correctly to have them screwed up by wait staff dancing on the floor when food was in the window. You could always hear him scream “I NEED RUNNERS!!!!” over the music.

How about it, Mr. Thompson? Can you confirm this? Because quite a few of us don’t get it.

Same sort of thing happened when he asked him to install a dumb waiter.
