So, as I understand it, snipes are like the Spanish gamusinos. They’re supposed to be turkey-like birds that sometimes fly a little bit and like to perch on the lowest branches of the trees at night, but they’re very clumsy and can’t fly when sleepy. Then you go with the victim and tell them to hold a sack while you go up the tree to catch the gamusino and drop it into the sack.
And that’s the moment when you throw a bucket of cold water you previously prepared on the branch over them.
