sigh… unfortunately, that is so true. I am not gay, I think that it’s wrong… but I am against the act not the person. My best friend is gay and I made it clear: make NO advances on me, and we will have no problems :-).
@KZ71 “I am against the act but not the person” is such a hypocritical, disingenuous smoke screen to try to cover up blatant bigotry. So is the old trope about “My best friend is (insert minority here)..” When you see that, the bigotry and prejudice will surely follow. It’s all about making stupid excuses for your own intolerance and racism.
And something tells me the last thing you need to worry about is a gay person “making advances” on you. I find it hard to believe any gay person would be that desperate.
Essentially all homosexuals are born to heterosexuals. The rare same-sex couples using in-vitro fertilization techniques are not any more or less likely to have gay kids than anybody else.
Since when is ten percent of the population ‘a tiny minority’?

The authors/artists do well with wry observations about life, but their personal biases are unwelcome.

Now this is a dismal way of looking at things. Maybe we just disagree. Oh right, I forgot – disagreeing with liberal doctrine IS hatred.

The problem with ALL of these comments here is that they all lack tolerance…on BOTH sides.
In my opinion, that’s the REAL issue to be found on the matter.
