cleokaya, once in the Journal of Irreproducible Results (a âscholarlyâ journal which publishes fake papers by real scientists) somebody who noted that the time between Christmases was far longer when youâre a child than when youâre an adult crunched the numbers and determined that the age at which a year actually feels like a year is something like 27.4.
(If thatâs the number he actually came up with, itâs purely coincidence; I donât have my âBest ofâŠâ volume handy to check.)
Some of the comments here remind me of a book I once read called âThrice Upon a Timeâ by James P Hogan. Especially the ones about losing what you have now.
One has to become one with the Time Continuum concept while taking into factor the CHAOS theory that is proportionate with the rotation of oneself while standing still next to a kid holding a manual clock.

So thatâs what dogs are doing when they act that way! I think they have a litle fur-ther to go before they get the time travel dance down pat.

I travel through time. Each year goes by faster than the last. Now one week speeds by faster than one day did as a child.

Iâm with you, Dr. Toon. âRegrets, Iâve had a few, but then again, too few to mention.â
It takes every place youâve ever been to get you where you are.

This is a great comic. I saw it in my morning paper, and it was hard to make out what was happening until I saw it here in color.

âDoes she know that sheâs going to have to Spring Forward one hour at 2:00 AM on Sunday Morning?â
As opposed to 2:00 AM on Sunday Evening?
