Rip Haywire and the Curse of Tangaroa! Graphic Novel Rip Haywire: So, Tangaroa is just the fine print of the bigger, greedier prize-the gold the longbeards pirated and never got to spend. Later off the shores of Bora-Bora Rip Haywire: I still can't believe my entire life I've been battling a curse just so nobody could find a stolen treasure. Cobra Carson: We've survived this long, let's get rewarded for our efforts, Rip. Rip Haywire: Ok, I'm game. Let's do this! Cobra Carson: The compass is pointing down, Rip. I don't know how, but it is. Rip Haywire: The longbeards stole 15 tons of gold. Think of it, 15 tons of gold! How much would that be in today's gold? TNT: I love it! How many milkbones can I buy with my share of the booty?
