What is Hind’s lead time? He is almost psychic. ESPN is giving Goodell grief over the Ray Rice thing 24/7 all this week. The only good thing about it is it knocked Missouri off the news.
ESPN commentators are doing what they feel they have to…for now. There’s too much money tied in with the NFL for them to really want Roger gone. As long as he makes bank for everyone, he ain’t goin’ nowhere.
As someone on Democracy Now mentioned, the NFL does not consider violence to be a legal problem nor a moral problem, but only a public relations problem. Therefore, they will only address it as PR.

I agree with Josh (well, at least about decreasing the penalty for pot).

So, Mr. Goodell, what’s the penalty for using that more harmful drug, alcohol? How many games is a guy suspended for imbibing whiskey?

The NFL could probably make billions (with a “b”) if ANY ordinarily competent person were the commish. The shield is more or less its own shield.
