I can’t believe that normally the ‘Wiz’ in is that bad of a mood. He must have just had a ‘set-to’ with Blanche and lost so he takes it out on the first person that irks him.

Actually, there is at least one strip I recall when the Wizard’s magic worked all too well.

His magic obviously operates (whether successfully or not) according to the First Law of Cartoon Physics, er, Magic (“Only When It’s Funny”).

Better yet, we wish he did that to the Fink! That would end the kingdom of Id’s suffering!

@ Johanan Rakkav No more than a few weeks back he made both of his ears disappear so he could tolerate dinner with the wife and mother-in-law I would call that hitting on all 8 cylinders
