G’day Jason and Meggsie fans,
Is that a little smokestack I see at the rear of the shed? If so then THAT is what I call a man’s shed. Maybe Mike could twiddle his ears like Snoopy, ascend helicopter-like, have a look in the window and give us one bark for ‘Yes, there is also a fridge’ or two for ‘No, there isn’t’. Looks like Dad has somewhere better to go than the doghouse when he is in the bad books.
After I posted my last entry yesterday (April 2) I went to bed and missed further comments; have just now gone back to read them.
Thanks Jason for your observation re my collection, it has been a lifetime’s quest to assemble it. All Meggsie fans should click on the ‘Visit the official site’ link at the top of this page to read Ginger’s history and realize how fortunate we are to have Jason follow a great tradition and keep our little Aussie treasure so alive and well and relevant to today’s youth.
Those around Ginger’s age could collect today’s Ginger and in years to come they would be able to look back and say, “Hey, that is how I thought when I was that age”. As they then look at their own kids they could smile and be thankful that their own ‘Ginger’ has them in his spell.
Joe-Allen and anyone interested in seeing something of Ginger over the years: go back to yesterday’s comments and find my address. I would be only too happy to email some early scans. Must admit it was a bit naughty to display a contact address and so I will remove it in 24 hours.

Gday all!
Joe-Allen, If you take a peek on Ebay you’ll likely see some old annuals.
Re the smokestack - it is indeed! Well picked.

Joe, I’m working on the Archives here, but I’m not as far along as you are.

I did go to the official site a few weeks back. Fascinating history of Ginger Meggs, and as I stated before, *Jason * is doing a FINE job!

Ginger and his father better get a move on with that dog house before the dog freezes in the autumn… how cold does it get in Australia anyway?
