Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Monarchies, in general, have a vested interest in making their country successful over the long term because the monarch knows (or at least hopes) that his progeny will be the ruler of the country in the future.
Itâs democracies that run their country âinto the groundâ because all that the so called âleadersâ are focused on is just getting elected every (in our case) four years by promising âbread and circusesâ to the stupid voters who have such short memories every election! Look at the United States lately (over the last 3/4 of a century) if you want living proof of this!!! Itâs the âPeter Principleâ gone mad!
As Iâve said, quit knocking the King â well, except that in this special case, Id seems to be a kingdom with all the faults of a democracy and none of the virtues of the kingdom!!
Hemophilia says your wrong on that, Desoto. So does most of tribal and recent history. Having a Parlement to keep them in check works wonders on the modern royalties.
