We had a dog that was so stupid that she coldcocked herself running down to the road where Dad was so she could be with him. Dad said he heard rustling in the leaves and then a loud thud; he turned around just in time to see the dog flop over onto her side after colliding headfirst with the tree. We figure she thought the tree would get out of her way so she could be with Dad.
