I love the little subtle things: the elephant has a blue ribbon; the donkey has a red one, just the opposite of the colors currently assigned to the parties, though in the 80s and before the red and blue were assigned to those parties. The states Reagan won were blue; in 2012, the states Obama won were blue.
Back in 1964 I had a pin that was a donkey wearing Goldwater’s eye glasses. It got broken when it was washed with the dress I wore it on. It would be fun to have it today just for the fun of it.

Some Democrats are conservative while some Replublicans are liberal. Then we have Lobertarians who are somewhere in the middle and at the extremes.Of course we also have the Constitutionalists who lie within their own interpretations.I’m so confused!
