Hahahahahaha! Great line! Actually, older adults really Do appreciate visits by children and dogs…more often than not, they have been forgotten by their families. So, what Red and Rover are doing is really a mission of the heart! ;)

I took my dog to a nursing home to visit the old man she once belonged to.

A sad miserable place. As the dog and I walked by, people who seemed in a deathlike state came back to life.

This must be cheaper way of keeping Red out of mischief after school.

I already love this story line. Mr. Basset, you continue to amaze me with your wonderful and sweet comic strip. I don’t suppose you could come to my house and turn my puppy, Greta Petunia in a dog more like Rover, could you?
