On my first day in clinical as a paramedic-in-training, the nice nurse showed me the warming cabinet and said “Here’s where we keep the patient blankets.” Then she showed me the refirgerator and said, “And here’s where we keep the stethoscopes.”
hmmmm … other than the hypersensitivity ….. well there’s this jumping at cold objects that touch my skin. And the squinting when a bright penlight shines in my eyes. Also, goosebumps when I sit in my skivvies on an exam table in a cold, drafty room….. … That help?
