I can imagine that as a plaque on the wall of a fire hall. (I think I’ve seen it before) I never understood the rivalry between the police and the firefighters.
I don’t find this funny either. My husband is a police sargeant and he’s done plenty of “hard” things. He’s risked his own life while in the process of saving others. Police do NOT get enough credit.
There were some news reports that both professionals were getting cross trained to save some tax dollars. it must have been small towns with volunteers.
Don’t get so upset. It’s auntie’s JOB to offend. Besides, it is a British cartoon and the cops get along better with the populace and aren’t subject to as much danger there. (A LOT fewer guns on the streets for one thing.)
