One day while I was out shopping, my family held an election and voted me boss without my knowledge. I swear you just can’t turn your back on some people. I tried to pass the position off to the dog and well, let’s just say he wasn’t very receptive. So many jobs, so little time.
Actually you shouldn’t rinse the dishes. If the non-phosphorous detergent doesn’t find some food to attack, it attacks the glassware (etches them) instead. Not funny, but true. Does your glassware look foggy?
He’s the boss at his house and I in mine, but seriously, even at his house, I often load and unload the dishwasher (and I’ve learned the order he likes to use) we both do the cooking. Tonight he’ll be grilling the steaks and I’ll cook the veggies and I already baked my cake (we had some last Saturday, and he may have eaten some since- it’s pretty big).
You waste about 5,000 gallons of water a year by pre-rinsing dishes that don’t need it with today’s dishwashers. I put mine in straight from the table and they’re always sparkling clean and sanitized.

I guess no one.I live alone, so it would be me…but I’m not good with authority figures, so I declined.

Washing the dish before putting it in the dish washer defeats the purpose of having a dish washing machine.
I’m the King of my castle. Mine is the first, last and only word.

Who needs a dishwasher? I don’t mind washing dishes at all. Also don’t mind washing and folding clothes. Now dusting, that’s another story.
