I really enjoy when cartoonists show respect for each other by giving characters from other strips cameos. But I’m sure that Clovis will have nothing nice to say about this and Doug’s not old enough to hear that.

Hey, I was going to say that looks like Clovis! This cannot mean good things for Doug. How exactly will Clovis react to having his ear used as a teething toy?
