Disney didn’t fake it. It was faked by a guy shooting a documentary for mutual of Omaha’s wild kingdom. people didn’t find out about it for many years afterward.
I just saw where Disney did it as well. I had always been told it was wild kingdom – didn’t know D had perpetuated the myth. apologies.
