We took Daughter’s puppy out today, she was a good dog until she saw another dog. I really think she thinks she is a Doberman when she is actually 13 pound Mutt!
Corinne was a kindergarten teacher, up until her retirement last June…
She is well aware of the need to build Emma’s self-esteem… Some might say overly aware…. or perhaps not classify it as a need, exactly….But as long as they’re happy, and the ribbons hold out…it’s fine with me.
Sorry folks, I based my observation on trying one out on our cat Max. Vet told us he was too old to get in another fight (I remember him with a drainage tube out his head every week or so) and to walk him on a leash. He would run to the end of it and lie down, never to move again. I’d pick him up and carry him home. I guess he got exercise. The neighbors got a laugh.

Gold medals and ribbons don’t work with Max.

My retractable has a loop close to the end that allows me to “short leash” her when nessasary.
