I last flew in 1993, and I’ve since gained 100 lbs. I suspect I’d find the experience a bit different these days.

We used to fly a lot. It got more and more cramped. We try to avoid it now.

Fact airline seats that recline do not interfere with the passenger behind ability to use the tray for eating. If your so tall that your knees would be impacted by a reclined seat or you wish to use the tray for a laptop, PAY for business class. Airlines are jamming us into couch because the market demands rock bottom prices. As a person who has flow since the early 70’s, I am definitely happy they deregulated the airlines and let market forces drive the pricing.
