Skipped the 1970’s, which were portable TV’s. The 1980’s were bigger screens, but no where near the size of the 1990’s. Having been born in 1949, I’ve pretty much seen it all. Evolution of cable TV too.
Kinda like the cell phones. Big brick-like handset that gradually became smaller and smaller until we had the tiny flip phones, now gradually bigger and bigger as folks demand bigger screens for their video games.
If I remember right, there were big screen tvs in the late 90’s, but not flat screens, they didn’t come out until the 2000’s and the hand held came out soon after.
It’s only a matter of time, and you’ll need a powered cart to carry your iPhone:Of course, the best idea would be to put the phone inside a cabinet with folding doors and station them around the city, in public places, and where folks hang out like bars and clubs!.What a revolutionary idea. I’ll get right on it…
I think people who want to watch a movie on their stupid little phone screen should refrain from trying to impress others ,I saved up for quite some time to afford a big screen TV to enjoy movies the way they were meant to be seen. So dont bother me with your toy screen!!!
