Today is Columbus Day here in the US, a holiday I just can’t understand. It’s been known for decades that the Vikings were here 500 years before Columbus, yet he gets the credit for the discovery. And he didn’t even get to the continent, just some Caribbean islands.

We had a Friday 13, on 13 December 2013. Good that there is only 12 months in a year.

How many days in a Jewish month?

I went to Google and Chabad.org to try to find out about that 13th month in the Jewish calandar. I came away thoroughly confused. I have decided that I’m just not smart enough to be a Jew.

But are we safe from having an extra Friday the 13th.?

I’ve been away for the last few days. When or why did we start having blank avatar spaces? I haven’t seen any mention of it.
