Thanks to all who wished this lil ole Canadian a Happy ThanksgivingAfficionado, I watched another documentary on Malta yesterday morning about what went on during WW2.
Today is Columbus Day here in the US, a holiday I just can’t understand. It’s been known for decades that the Vikings were here 500 years before Columbus, yet he gets the credit for the discovery. And he didn’t even get to the continent, just some Caribbean islands.
Benny Hill talking to a friend at home in the ol’ kitchen with the ol’ wife: Wife: “Your wife not sleeping well, George?” George: “No, it’s the cats. They keep her up.” Benny: “We never eat cats—as far as I KNOW! What the heck is this?” Wife: “I got it out of the cook book.” Benny: “Good, it had no right to be in there in the FIRST place!”
I went to Google and Chabad.org to try to find out about that 13th month in the Jewish calandar. I came away thoroughly confused. I have decided that I’m just not smart enough to be a Jew.

Suspect that (Guitar Bob?)’s wife is actually Caribbean-Indian — that would explain his entire line prior to the question.

We had a Friday 13, on 13 December 2013. Good that there is only 12 months in a year.

I’ve been away for the last few days. When or why did we start having blank avatar spaces? I haven’t seen any mention of it.

When my mom passed in 2012 (she was about 94), we found medicines and spices dating from WWII.
