Ah yes, the problems of outliving your contemporaries. I’ve left instructions to hold my funeral in a phone booth because there won’t be anyone left to attend anyway…..
rw1h: There won’t be any phone booths either! I haven’t seen one in years. Maybe you could book the cell-phone store instead! Then people could text their condolences….
My husband refuses to go to a unisex salon, too. He’s been going to the same barber shop longer than we’ve been married and that’s going on 22 years now.
35 years is good, but I went to the same hair cutter for 58 years - until she was too feeble at age 90 to do it anymore. Haven’t found a decent replacement yet.
