Learn anything new in school today? Oh yes, lots! Dried rubber cement rolled between your thumb and forefinger make terrific fake boogers! Um, you said lots. Right. About 9,600 of them per bottle.
I remember bending pencils over a radiator; the body was made of a composite that became flexible when heated. The curved pencil was handy because when it was placed on an inclined desktop it did not roll off.

The rubber-like stickum on the back of some mail labels is also snot like, but dry. Reusable, too. Collect it in waxed paper and keep handy. :-)
