REALLY funny strip today. You’d be surprised though, to know how many millions out there actually know nothing about the Harry Potter series. And there is no gray area; either fanatic fans [me] or totally ignorant of HP [;-( [;-)
Many extremists started hating Harry Potter when their preachers told them he was evil because he uses magic. I’ve always been fascinated how the same people just love Lord of the Rings, which is full of sorcery and magic. But once they start banging a particular drum they are loathe to stop. I enjoyed the Beatles a great deal as a kid, then all their records just disappeared from the house. Either it was their “long hair” or the comment John Lennon made about them being more popular than Jesus, but we were lucky to have any rock-n-roll records for a long time.
Buy from this guy? You can’t be Sirius! He’ll Slytherin and out of town so fast, he’ll be long gone before you realize this stuff gives you a rash and Hogwarts.
I never gave three hoots about it either, UNTIL ABC Family did the first five as a Marathon. I copied them all and watched them in a week. I was SO hooked, I scrambled to Amazon and bought the last four as used DVDs. After the ninth one was watched, my daily HP fix was gone and I was really bummed! But I’m OK now!!! [;-( [;-)
