Potatoes are so important to the ancient Incas of Peru that they measured time by how long potatoes took to cook. Kyle Naegeli, 16, catches bass from sewers near his home in Katy, Texas, through a manhole cover. Archaeologists have recently dug up a 2000-year-old Roman wooden toilet seat from a fort at Hadrian's Wall in North England- the only one of its kind to survive.

How many at this day can place the old “Outhouse” in perspective to our society? The outhouse required maintenance, and sometimes was moved around ( sometimes by itself) Early days in Brooklyn NY we had them, but most had running water, no heat though!
