When I was stationed in Germany back in the 60s, the brewery in our town gave tours that ended in a “hospitality” room that featured unlimited free beer along with wurst und bröchen. Needless to say, it was very popular with the troops.

Amazing that long ago Andy had to give up smoking cigs because it was considered a bad image but he continues to get blotto day after day after day.

No, she’s just self-absorbed and thin-skinned. Some people think freedom of speech only applies to what THEY want to hear.

I never confused Flo with Hyacinth Bucket, and wonder why the current “creative” team would. I mean, “stately homes and castles” wouldn’t be her thing anymore than it would be Andy’s!

@GweedoTrue, Flo would like her OWN new hats and frocks, but I have no doubt she would consider “stately” people stiff as a board. She and Rube are clearly superior creatures to Andy and Chalkie, yet have more in common with them than with anybody else. (Some of my favorite classics are Flo and Rube laughing at their hubbies, while drinking up some of their own money, for a change, before Andy and Chalkie can get into it!)

Years ago I took a tour of Dublin which included a tour of the Guinness brewery which ended at their hospitality room where everybody got a free pint, Needless to say it was the most popular stop on the tour.
