Aren’t the light switches usually next to the door.??
No light switch, these have a pull cord. Why would anyone want a black floor? GOTH???
Throw the breaker in the basement!
It is either a dark mahogany stain, or it is on old film where the red floor paint looks black.
I’d say black. Our family moved into an old house in 1958. The floors had area rugs. The wood around the rugs was a solid black.
It would have been a pretty bad paint job if he turned off the light while he was still in the middle of the room. Painting in the dark isn’t a good idea.
It wouldn’t bother my family a BIT.
Mutt could probably reach that pull cord, if he holds on to the door jam and leans in. Jeff probably couldn’t have reached it, anyway
