Location, location, location.

7-Eleven isn’t called that because they’re open seven days a week, eleven hours a day. It’s because they’re open from seven am to eleven pm..Or at least they were when they got the name..One little old lady saw the sign for the first time and complained that inflation had even hit the old five-and-ten store.

But even using Bucky logic (the very definition of oxymoron) ….shouldn’t that be “2 ½ – 2" ?

In my experience, $15 for a peanut would make a lot more sense if it was served on a really big plate, with maybe a sprig of parsley and a squiggly drizzle of some anonymous sauce…

Bucky has so many ideas. It’s amazing.

As one clerk replied to a complaint about the prices, “We said we’re convenient. Nobody ever promised you ‘cheap’.”

Oh, Bucky, I hear that kind of reasoning all the time from organic food advocates, locavores, and farmers market devotees! Nothing wrong with that if you can afford it, but they really don’t get that most people can’t pay $5 for a tiny head of lettuce or $8/lb for beef.

It’s more of an inconvenience store.

Inquiring minds want to know…. is that peanut the one peanut that fell between the couch cushions and gradually worked its way down, down, and down. Until it finally fell out the back end of said couch. the one peanut that goes with the song “Found a Peanut Last Night!”?because if it is that one peanut….. I wouldn’t serve it to a dog. The rabid squirrel across the street… maybe. But not the dog.
