7-Eleven isnât called that because theyâre open seven days a week, eleven hours a day. Itâs because theyâre open from seven am to eleven pm..Or at least they were when they got the name..One little old lady saw the sign for the first time and complained that inflation had even hit the old five-and-ten store.
In my experience, $15 for a peanut would make a lot more sense if it was served on a really big plate, with maybe a sprig of parsley and a squiggly drizzle of some anonymous sauceâŚ
Oh, Bucky, I hear that kind of reasoning all the time from organic food advocates, locavores, and farmers market devotees! Nothing wrong with that if you can afford it, but they really donât get that most people canât pay $5 for a tiny head of lettuce or $8/lb for beef.
Inquiring minds want to knowâŚ. is that peanut the one peanut that fell between the couch cushions and gradually worked its way down, down, and down. Until it finally fell out the back end of said couch. the one peanut that goes with the song âFound a Peanut Last Night!â?because if it is that one peanutâŚ.. I wouldnât serve it to a dog. The rabid squirrel across the street⌠maybe. But not the dog.
