I haven’t been commenting here as much as I used to, but just had to this morning, since Rufus made me guffaw out loud! It reminded me so much of ol’ Stella Bella and her brother, Quincy Jack…….both loved to look over my shoulder and scrutinize the paper, magazine or needlepoint…… oh, wait….maybe they just wanted ALL of my attention!

Of course, maybe it’s that I liked to sit in front of the window….. and they did. too!

Well if you’re gonna get picky never mind…..

Thanks, LadyKat, I’ll have a slice if there’s any left. Virtual cake will be less fattening than the one I baked for my birthday. (but I can still taste mine- in my head). I hadn’t made one of those in years; they were my dad’s favorite.

This was in colour here. But B&W does happen for some reason. Rufus needs someone to hold the paper up for him.

@Stel, great dogs! It is such fun to have interesting pets. We had a cat when I was young who enjoyed water drips in the kitchen sink. She also chased crinkley sounding cigarette wrappers thrown far enough across the floor.

I’m guessing he wants the sports. He is dying (he hopes not literally) to learn the results of the dog races. He got some hot tips from a buddy of his, and laid down as much kibble as his bookie would accept.
