She seems pretty matter of fact about it though…Like most of the spouses on Ballard Street, she’s seen whims and phases, fads and fancies…This is a little better than the crocodile suit, she sighs…. and safer than the Ballard Street Seniors Bungee-ing Off Buildings and Flagpoles Club.
Susan! Hi, I smell bananas, could there be daks in the offering? I’ll have one please. There seems to be lightning inside George and Beulah’s house! Don’t know what that is all about, except I notice you sold that xxl witche’s costume the other day. I guess George is taking his little hobby to the next level. Remind me not to go to the meeting of the Ballard Crochet and Post Hole Digging Club next Tues. It’s at their house. Creepy place, have you been inside?Ah, my dak, thanks, you’re a peach!
Oh gosh, 2Old… I kinda have to go to that meeting.
I’ve made 2 and a half of the nice set of posthole covers I’m crocheting for a Christmas present…I wanted to finish them, and try them on one of your postholes, to see how they fit.
I haven’t made any postholes yet to try them on at home.
Thanks, Bri… I haven’t gotten far in my queue…but I guess it must really be the anniversary of the strip, and the other cartoonists must know about it,’

@Happy, Thanks!I have never worked in retail except for selling hot dogs while my youngest was in kindergarten. I did the whole lot there (even drawing brochures) but I went on to my “real career” in engineering. I still respect all real workers.

Like making footprints in fresh snow.Well, it would be, if I didn’t type so much that Brian posted before me.

And Scooter would agree with the “he’s a wonderful wizard” part…as long as he keeps conjuring up the liverwurst cubes.
