Why are these Sundays half sized compared to the previous arc?

I’ve only recently started reading this comic. The dailies are pretty obviously vintage, from the forties or something. But this seems to be modern. Are the Sundays new each week or are they repeats from some previous year?
@davidf42, they are all repeats, from two different eras.
In the last panel, the drawing looks almost like Johnny Weissmuller.
