They look fine to me Bev. I’m pretty sure they are playing Crazy Eights! With Tiddlywinks and Root beer. Snapper is ignoring it all though.

From the looks of the….er….girth of the members, the Kayak Club is sunk before it gets underway.And I think they are playing Whist. With poker chips.

Well, the Kayak club meetings get pretty boring in winter….Little Ballard Creek is too shallow for kayaks…maybe a small canoe on a really rainy day… but not with one of these guys in it.

So they usually paddle in Big Ballard Creek … but right now, it’s iced over from the downtown area all the way through Eastern Ballard County….and dried to a trickle on the Western side.

So some of the members stay home, and the ones who do attend the meetings have too much time available for making mischief.

Oh well, whatever floats your boat….they’re pretty harmless these days.And at least if they get called on the carpet for it, they won’t have far to go.

I do have to say, ms. Beviek…I did not refuse to tel!

You know quite well that neither of those two won that bet!

My yurt has the good sense to fold up and tie itself tight, if either of them, or any of their ilk, approaches!

Good morning everyone.kayaks and Canasta.Off this morn to get fresh oil and to heated storage for my Moto Guzzi V7.[mogee] ; moderate 6=10ins. of snow on the way,starting tomorrow morn.I thimk,i’m going to be ready. :) Peace.

All our snow went away, but we now are having a fit of strong winds. I was NOT reassured when our local weatherman said “If this was the Gulf of Mexico, it would be a Force One Hurricane”.

I can’t think of a better way to spend the day. Canoe?….

Things just haven’t been the same since they lost that big match to the Canoe Club…

Surf is not up right now. Waiting for the big ones to begin rolling.

Send the boys some chilled refreshment, and put it on my tab…

It is a little known fact that Roy Rogers was part of the Kayak Club, leading to a little known phase, “Yippee Ka-Yak!”Clearly, Roy Rogers lived on Ballard Street.

Just read Susan’s comment on the bet. I am glad her Yurt has more sense than Kyle and Doyle!

Bev, thank you for the wonderful greeting and the topsy turvy kitty. That made my day brighter. It wasn’t a good day.
