Part tricycle, part gyrocopter, the $295,000 Pal V Bike can travel up to 112 mph on roads and fly for up to 300 miles at altitudes up to 4000 feet. In the 1931 book, Alice in Wonderland was banned in China because there is no scientific basis for talking animals. Officer Joel Zwicky of The Green Bay, Wisconsin, police force, patrols the local streets on a skateboard.

I have a LEGO set simular to that flying machine http://guide.lugnet.com/set/8215 As for “Alice”, seems like China has no sense of imagination. I also wonder how did Off. Zwicky get permission to patrol on skateboard.

Um, there’s kind of no scientific basis for Wonderland, and they targeted the cat?

Well, Officer, it’s looks more official than coming in on a segway…

" I also wonder how did Off. Zwicky get permission to patrol on skateboard."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well for starters, Officer Zwicky would be able to cover a lot more ground, and that would be a plus.

Well, I don’t believe there is any true scientific basis for many of the medicinal “remedies” the Chinese practice either, but that doesn’t stop them from killing tons of animals so they can harvest and consume some small part of their anatomy.

I’m guessing the skateboard gives Officer Swicky some rapport with the younger crowd. He’s probably not the type of officer who would zoom into a park and gun down a kid.

As for the Pal V Bike…wow, does that sound like fun…wonder if Santa could fit one in his sleigh!

One of the reasons that the Chinese send students to US Universities is the hope that they will learn how to invent. They are very disappointed that they have very few people that are capable of design thinking. Making products that are based on foreign talent is frustrating. All they know how to do is steal intellectual property and copy-cat.
