Had a great New Year. We went over to friends’ house and had lunch with them. Relaxed for the afternoon and then watched the Twilight Zone Marathon last night.

Good morning Vagabonds.Another cold day today with a snow storm predicted for Sat. night and Sun. morning. They are calling for 1 to 3 inches in my area before turning to rain. Glad I don’t have to go anywhere.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

Fridays always have been my “ketchup” days……..things that really need to be done, but……………

Watched that great show from Vienna on Great Performances (PBS)………..the New Years Day with the Vienna Philharmonic playing the Strauss favorites. Julie Andrews was the hostess, and showed all kinds of scenery around the city and countryside. Beautiful for the eyes and ears and heart!

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

David, I gave up on the Twilight Zone marathons. It seems that every time I tuned in, they were playing “The Invaders” with Agnes Moorehead – not my favorite episode.

We watched Oregon stomp all over Florida yesterday. I thought the two commentators were a bit one-sided. Oregon played a phenomenal game, especially the third quarter, and all those two could do was say how Florida had thrown the game away. Half of those turnovers were because Oregon players skillfully stripped the ball from the Florida ball carriers, and it was Oregon’s skill that made the follow-up touchdowns. Give them credit for the excellent game they played instead of blaming Florida for the loss.

It’s warming up a bit around here – 50 degrees instead of 45.
