    If you hear the thunder, that doesn’t mean that you won’t be hit by the next bolt of lightening. Stay scared and stay inside, Poncho. Fear is your friend.

    Good morning my friends. Maybe Poncho got smart by being struck by lightning in a previous story. My Maltepoo has an excellent built in severe storm detector. The only time he sticks to me like glue is if a severe storm is approaching or a tornado. And he won’t go out if he detects either one. He helps keep my Yorkie mix and me safe. Y’all have a blessed day my friends.

    My Rusty was trained to never leave the kitchen. But when he was alone during a thunderstorm, we came home to find him upstairs in the bathtub.

    True that. Lightning has been known to go up to 10 miles horizontally, so the anode can be far out of sight.
