I read all these comments and got an image of a guy standing in a courtyard, screaming, âThatâs not what I said!â2000 + years of repeats, rewrites and editors are why thereâs so much confusion. Stick with the first Golden Rule, âya know, the âDo unto othersâ bit. Itâs simpler and much less stressful.
@debauchee â just giving credit to the man who sang the song that that line contained. i believe he also wrote the words, but didnât check â and was âprofitâ intentional or did you mean âprophetâ? cause ray did make lots of money off the song âeverything is beautifulâ (in itâs own way) course my favorite ray stevenâs song was âthe streakâ â âdonât look mildred, but it was too lateâ :)
