Technology is not your friend, Horace…

Not only is it 83:59. It’s blinking too.

My digital clock is self correcting for daylight savings time; which the date of resetting the clock has now changed. So in the middle of the night the clock resets a week sooner than it should. You wake up and think what the hey?

Since when does Horace have a job?Never mind, we’ve see his skill set..

I know what you mean Horace. I have a little digital thermometer that, I think, needs a new battery. Got up one freezing morning and it read 110 degrees.

Our home weather station has an atomic clock that is always 2 hours off. So I obviously I live 2 time zone away from home.

How funny, my thermometer is reading 121 today.

That’s plus or minus 56 degrees.

“Atomic clocks”? The only consistently reliable clock in the house has a large swinging pendulum and three heavy brass weights suspended from brass chains! It is over 50 years old..Once a week, I raise the weights as I pull the chains down to prepare for another week of glorious chimes…
