If you don’t know how to spell it, how can you find it in the dictionary?
Metatext sucks. Lose the frog, already.
Real dictionaries are wonderful. Besides the definition and pronunciation (in a format understandable by people of a certain age), there are word origins, and then all the words above and below your word on the page.
I still use a real dictionary. My children and myself have been involved in regional spelling bees, a dictionary is one of the consolation prizes.
Why say ‘young sheep’ when the correct term would be ‘lamb’!
