Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Command of good grammar and word usage is not a prerequisite of comic writing. But it is their prerogative to intentionally misuse them. You will find a preponderance of liberties taken with the language. Is it presumptuous of us to expect perfection?
You’ve hit on something that’s very true. As a writer myself, I’ve found that this is something I must constantly watch. I don’t care about being grammatically correct 100 percent of the time, if I’m giving the dialog of a character who speaks incorrectly. But I’ve got to be consistent when I create his dialog. And I’ve got to be careful not to let his “style” bleed into the dialog of another character.
@davidf42: you get to keep most of the money for each book sold. If you sell enough copies then consider paperback versions. The other comments from coyoty, Veteran and Nun’Ya Bidness are excellent suggestions also.

@davidf42: both are good fields. Have you tried epublishing, maybe a Kindle book?
