Yep, a bit of croc blood with the breakfast corn flakes. Somehow I can’t see Larson “do the same” , that style of croc killing is rather unique. Kreegah!
@UshindiYes, Fritz Leiber was a big favourite of mine. Also Poul Anderson, Isaac Asimov, Andre Norton, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Piers Anthony….It’s just that over the years, and several moves, I had to downsize from 5,000+ books to about 1,000. Some wandered off, and quite a few were donated to retirement homes or the library or charity.
That’s got to be one of those Ginsu knives. Order yours today and we will include the Cap Snaffler; opens all size caps, large caps, small caps and it really, really works. Operators are standing by.
Oh, my! What will the faint-of-heart readers and censors say about all of that blood in panel 2 today? It will instill fear in the weaker readers out there! I wonder how many of them threw their newspapers away after seeing this on their morning commute to work? There goes your breakfast! :)> MambyPambyWussiesAGowa!!
Aroused by the mingled pungent scents of croc blood and ape man sweat, at the touch of Tarzan’s callused hand Larson bursts into song:
“There’s a place for us, A time and place for us. Hold my hand and we’re halfway there. Hold my hand and I’ll take you there Somehow, Some day, Somewhere!”

“Do the same”??? Larson can’t even tie his own shoelaces! He’s the biggest screw up as safari leader ever.

The art work in this series of Tarzan is outstanding. I guess in 1948 they were less sensitive.
