Good Morning Vagabonds..Clear and cold this morning, 5 to 6 below, and they’er talking coldest nights of the winter are expected..The coldest I know of was back in 1955 when it got to 52 below. Needless to say my dad’s car did not start, he later found out there had been a brake in the drop cord to the car for the engine block heater, he repaired it, and it took most of the day to warm up the car enough to start.I don’t remember a lot about it, after all I was only 2.And that’s the way it was. ;-).Getting lighter outside and I have nothing more to say except..ttfn
We had an earthquake yesterday! WooHoo! It was a 2.8 magnitude, and the epicenter was about 3 miles east of our house! Man was it loud! Thought it was an old WW2 bomb going off. Could feel the air pressure move, too.
Rita, earthquakes can be exciting. Growing up in So CA, we got used to them, but still the big ones could wake you up from a sound sleep and scare you half to death. I remember waking up in the morning to a quake big enough to make the street outside my window undulate like a flow of water. And that one was epicentered more than 60 miles away.
The view through the valley this morning was sparkling clean and clear. It will be a nice day today.
