Howdy Vagabonds. My friends do you cringe when you see the number 13? Do you brake out in a cold sweat, or or try to hide from it? When it comes on a Friday do you want to stay in bed?Well you may be suffering from Triskaidekaphobia, the fear of the number 13, the only cure for this affliction is to ignore it, it’s only a superstition. ;-).Eight below, (not the movie) looks like something going on outside.Heard a nail pop this morning. By the sound you would think the nail was flying across the yard, but, in truth it only comes out a small fraction of an inch. One of the qurkes of wooden structures in really cold weather..Several farmers were gathered at the General Store on a cold morning comparing temperatures, when Zeke came in.“How cold was it at your place?” One of Zeke’s friends.“Three below” Zeke replied.“Three below!” one of the others exclaimed. “Your farm is the coldest around.”“Yep” Zeke said. "The mercury was three clapboards below the thermometer..With that I’ll be on my way..ttfn

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Ooooooooo. Friday the 13th. Cue the theme from Twilight Zone.

I spent the day looking at apartments for Mike yesterday. Some very nice places available for around the same as my mortgage payment, and some dumps for considerably more.

Still sunny and warm here. 75 yesterday, should be about 77 today.

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

Friday the 13th…………..when I was 8 years old, I was hit by a car crossing a busy intersection……….I had the green light, and was in the crosswalk, and this woman made a right turn without looking…………lost my two front teeth, lots of scrapes, but no broken bones. Friday the 13th………no special qualms about that day. (My favorite uncle brought his then “girlfriend” over that night……….she gave me a Donald Duck comic book!!!!! She became my favorite aunt!)
