Now that he’s done his assignment, it’s time to leave for his vacation in Morocco.10 Points to the person who makes the connection without using Google or Wikipedia

Easy peasy. Plethora is a word from the ancient greek, Greece is a country on the Mediterranean Sea. Morocco is also on the Mediterranean, not too far away on the opposite shore. Will that float your boat enough to get you there?

I can link it to “Three Amigos”, one of my favorite lines. I can’t relate it to Morocco, though. I did look up the movie, may parts were filmed there, but apparently not. I give up

Maybe the connection is between “Nichols” and “Morocco”? I came up empty nonetheless. Come-On Digital Frog – don’t leave us hangin all day! Some of us have presents to return!

nosirrom was headed in the right direction, but a few decades late. It is a movie reference but to Webster’s dictionary, not to “plethora”. One of the most famous of the Bob Hope/Bing Crosby road movies was “Road to Morocco” The title song included a terrible pun (so bad that it took many takes because Bob and Bing kept breaking up when they sang it):♪♫… Like Webster’s Dictionary we’re Morocco bound!…♪♫

Digital Frog: Rats! Missed it by two hours. It took me about ten seconds to recall the connection. It took about twenty to get the “it means a lot” part. Great pun, but next time wait a bit longer in the day to explain it (and give me a chance to show off).
