Our neighbour had a basset (she died this past autumn), and when she started in a-barkin’, she sounded like an old Chevy truck trying to start. I always wanted to yell out, “If you advance the spark and give ‘er a bit of choke, that ol’ dog’ll start right up!”

We live in a condo where pets are allowed. We have the same problem with the dogs. Maybe they’re only ‘preaching’ also.
