Second, I have a VERY DEAR LONG TIME FRIEND AND CO-WORKER, 20 plus years who is a Deputy Fire Chief. I have a great deal of respect for these folks! One of my FAVORITE shows is CHICAGO FIRE. I asked Norm how true it was to the reality of the real fire fighting. He said, pretty accurate, as far as the fire fighting goes. He said they of course have added drama, but for the most part on pretty close on the rescue and firefighting.
