Signs of Snoopy becoming more than a dog?

So there was a bird before Woodstock.

I’d say it’s the beginning of Woodstock. Don’t forget it’s only the modern colourist who’s coloured it blue.

Well, let’s be honest, it doesn’t look that much like Snoopy, either.

A lesson in ‘music is in the eye of the beholder.’

That’s no Woodstock. Woodstock’s not that well coordinated.

And Charlie Brown isn’t a loser, either, at this stage. Point is, it’s all evolving.

The bluebird works solo, Snoopy…

That bird wouldn’t dare yell at Schroeder (who hasn’t yet been born by this point, of course……)

I always liked these pre Woodstock birds.

I’m enjoying this early evolution of Snoopy! You know, before he developed an attitude…

Snoopy has always had conversations with birds other than Woodstock.
