Around here seems more “April flowers bring May showers and June and July droughts.”

I remember those slickers, with the airholes under the armpits. They made me sweat so much due to trapped body heat and moisture, I was almost as wet as if I hadn’t worn any rain gear and just let it rain on me!

And mayflowers bring Pilgrims. Bet you never heard that one before.
